We have so much in store this summer!  Most of our programs will be outside this summer in the fresh air.  If the weather proves to be uncooperative – we will move to an online format.  We are so excited to have you back at the library this summer!

Summer Reading Challenge 2021 – Tails & Tales

Download the ReadSquared app to your phone to participate!

Or go to the website: http://mulvanelibrary.readsquared.com

Carson Bank funded this reading program.  This first official week to pick up prizes is June 1st.  So when you sign up (you can starting May 21st), we encourage you to read, but the first-week prizes won’t be available until June 1st.

This challenge is available to Children, Teens, and Adults.  Please keep track of your reading time because we track our program through minutes read. If your child is too young to read (or your little brother or sister), we encourage you to read to them (it counts for both of you!).  Audiobooks, comic books, magazines, internet articles, rereading books – they all count!  So read the way you love to read!

Find printables of reading logs and brochures here.

Summer Reading Weekly prizes will be a little different this year for teens.  For activities you participate in, visiting the library, and completing a level in the reading challenge, you can put a raffle ticket in for a prize you would like.  Winners will be drawn in July.

Prizes include: a crystal art kit, a ring light, a sloth onesie, an inflatable unicorn costume, and an animation flipbook kit.
