A Year of Books with Bite
Maggie has had a whole year of reading with the Books with Bite book club. And she has had a blast with the group! Maggie says, “We have had read some really great books, and we have had books that were only okay, but the company was always spot on.”
The group has read a variety of books from women’s fiction to sci-fi. When asked some of her favorite memories or books from the club, Maggie said, “I really enjoyed the Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin, and I had a lot of fun meeting Marguerite Reed at our summer reading event.”
Thanks to everyone who joined us this past year, and we hope others join our group! The group meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at one of the local restaurants in town. Our next meeting will be September 12th and we will be at Luciano’s. We will be doing a double feature talk since we missed August. You can read either Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter or There There by Tommy Orange.
