The Mulvane Public Library has added fourteen new Kansas Notable titles to our collection. This was made possible through a grant from the State Library of Kansas and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Look for them in our new books sections!

Grand Opening Celebration
Join us for our grand opening celebration on Thursday, June 9th at 5:00pm-7:00pm. It will be a fun evening of food, music, and tours of the new building.
The Friends of the Library and the Mulvane Public Library will provide refreshments.
Music entertainment will be provided by the Michael Engdahl Trio in the Multipurpose Room.
Michael Engdahl is a guitarist, composer, arranger, and teacher based out of Wichita, KS. He recently graduated from Wichita State University with a B.M. in Jazz Studies where he had the opportunity to play with Jazz Arts I Big Band, Guitar Ensemble and lead multiple jazz combos.
Beyond jazz ensembles, he has been a part of the pit orchestra for Music Theater for Young People Wichita, Wichita State University, Hesston College, and has performed with the Wichita State Symphony Orchestra. Michael has performed with a number of local acts and original bands around town, ranging from country to hard rock. He has been a part of multiple recording sessions as a band member and studio musician throughout the Midwest.
Michael is currently pursuing a M.M. Degree from Wichita State University.
Outside of school, he leads his own jazz trio, ME3, is a part of the jazz super-group Daydream, performs with singer/songwriter Molly Neeley, and collaborates with other musicians and projects.
He teaches at Air House Music Academy (www.airhousemusic.com) and Senseney Music (www.senseneymusic.com) and is on staff with
Camp Allegro (www.campallegrowichita.com) in Wichita, KS.
He offers both individual and group instruction for guitar at both locations.
