Summer Reading is here! It is a little different this year, but it will still be loads of fun.  We are still having our Wednesday presenters, just virtually! The presenters all use different platforms, so be sure to check where you need to login to watch.  If you have any questions, feel free to email our Youth Coordinator, Victoria, at youth@mulvanelibrary.org.

Summer Reading Program Registration is NOW OPEN!

Tote Bag Design 2020

The Mulvane Public Library’s Summer Reading Program has started! Registration is open this week, May 25th.  However, logging reading hours begins June 1st through July 18th. Unlike previous years, the Summer Reading Program is primarily online in 2020. Go to http://mulvanelibrary.readsquared.com/ to register and log your reading hours each week.  Additionally, the Library will host online or virtual programs for all ages, and hand out to-go crafts (these activities start the week of June 1st too).

Please note, the Library will still hand out physical prizes as part of the program this year. However, pick-up will be managed through our curbside service, which does have limited hours. Call (316) 777-1211 before you head down so staff has time to gather your earned prizes. By registering, you will receive a free tote bag. These totes are available now, so put some books on hold as well to fill your new bag!

Curbside Service- Starts Monday, May 18th

The Library will begin offering curbside pick-up on Monday, May 18th while the interior, public spaces remain closed. This week you may place holds through our online Kanshare Catalog or by calling the Library at (316) 777-1211. Currently, and throughout our curbside service, the Library will have reduced hours in order to give our staff the opportunity to clean the materials being returned as well as bundle and prep the items for pick-up. Curbside hours will include M-TH 10am-6pm, F 10am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm. In an effort to make the process for pick-up easy as possible, we are mimicking Dillon’s pick-up. Please note: delivery to your cars will occur on the north side of the building. Just look for the labeled stalls for directions when you arrive.

Contact us if you have questions, and of course, start placing those holds.
