Thank you so much for participating in this year’s stuffed animal sleepover! The animals had so much fun eating good food, playing games, watching movies, and their absolute favorite thing was reading books! But they sure did miss their people. Hopefully everyone can check out some books so they can have fun with their animals every night!

Crocktober is next Monday, October 22 at 6:30! This is your opportunity to show off your cooking skills to other people in the community, and get new dinner ideas from everyone else! Need food inspiration? Check out a cookbook or magazine and try out a new crock-pot meal! This event is free but registration is required for this event, and everyone must bring their own dish along with the recipe to share. You can register in person at the circulation desk or by phone (777-1211). Patrons must be teenage (grades 6-12) or older to attend.

Participate in our Teen Read Week Challenge. You can attend one of our events the week of October 8-12 for two points a piece or participate on social media daily and earn one point per post. The teen with the most points wins! Teens must have proof that they are in the middle school or high school, no library card is required.
Teen Read Week is celebrated across the country to remind everyone what programs and services are offered at the library. This week we will have a ton of fun activities for teens in grades 6- 12 to participate in.
Monday, October, 8 @ 6:30: DIY Night! Come create a plush pumpkin out of t-shirts with us!
Tuesday, October 9 @ 3:30: Trivia Night. Trivia and Treats. Topics will be over pop culture, YA books, movies, and television.
Wednesday, October 10 @ 3:30: It’s Science! Our regular Teen Scene activity time will be all about static electricity.
Thursday, October 11 @ 3:30: Board Games. Hang out in the teen area and play games, from Sushi Go to Exploding Kittens.
Friday, October 12 @ 6: Outdoor Movie Night. Featured movie: Hocus Pocus. This event is for all ages. There will be food trucks arriving at 6, a Winnie the Pooh short starts at 7, and at 7:30 we will be showing Hocus Pocus.
