The Library now has a monthly mailing list for our events! Toward the end of each month, subscribers to this list will be sent a newsletter of our programs and services for the next month. We will be sending February’s newsletter out on Tuesday, so there is still time to get signed up in order to receive it. Searching for Teen Advisory Board Members
A Teen Advisory Board is starting up at the library, and we are in need of volunteers!
The Teen Advisory Board is a group of teenagers that will assist the program coordinator(s) with teen programming. Duties will consist of meeting with the programming librarian once a month to brainstorm ideas and to give insight as to what is popular and interesting. Other duties may consist of helping out with the program if needed. This opportunity is only for teenagers, ages 12-18 or grades 6-12.
This is a great volunteer opportunity. Members will have the opportunity to serve as President, Vice President, Secretary, and other board positions if accepted. The Teen Advisory Board is a great addition to a resume and is perfect for those just starting resume building.
