It is with a heavy heart that the Mulvane Public Library shuts down its physical location, effective immediately (March 18th), until further notice. Our dedicated staff made an effort to stay open longer than many libraries in our area, but cannot in good conscience do so any longer after recommendations to close by the American Library Association and many others. As this virus gains traction, germs may be spread by interactions with others, but possibly through the sharing of materials. The Library cannot risk the lives of its beloved community members, as much as we cherish our physical books. However, we can still share our love of literature and learning, as well as foster connections with the community. The Library will do this through Facebook Live programming (yay, Miss Victoria with Storytimes), increase availability of digital materials, and continue to share valuable online resources to families.

*Please note that fines and overdue materials will be taken care of, but if you need assistance accessing online materials or have questions, private message us or email asst.director@mulvanelibrary.org. We will continue to check messages regularly, as many of us work off-site.
