Books with Bite – We are meeting at Amy’s Pizza on September 9th at 6:30 pm. We are reading Early Morning Riser by Katherine Hiney
5K Book Club – Join us on September 16th at 6:30 pm. We meet at the library, talk about the book and then take a walk (or jog) around Mulvane! We are reading The Last Great Walk by Wayne Curtis.
Fiction and Friends – Join us on September 23rd at 6:30 pm at the library for our discussion of The Orphan Collector by Ellen Marie Wiseman.
Non-Fiction Book Club – Join our Facebook Group online. You can talk about any non-fiction book you like, but we pick a book every month if you need some suggestions. And then we can discuss it online! This month we are reading John Green’s The Anthropocene Reviewed. 
Teen TicTok Book Club – A book club just for teens, read the book and leave a review for it on Instagram or TikTok. Remember to tag us so we can see it! @mulvanelib This month we are reading The Infinity Courts by Akemi Dawn Bowman.
KanRead Consortium Wide BookClub – Join us at all 8 of the libraries in the consortium. We are reading the Grimm’s Fairy Tales and each library is hosting an event inspired by individual stories. Learn more here.
Teen Scenes – September
Teen Scene is every Wednesday at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. We do all sorts of games, crafts, cooking, and more! This program is for teens in grades 6 -12.
September 1st: Trivia Day
September 8th: Fancy Grilled Cheese
September 15th: Board Game Day
September 22nd: Fall Party
September 29th: Ping Pong
Other exciting things happening in October! Sign up to be part of our Chalk Walk Contest! You will be assigned a square in front of the library and you will draw an in that square in order to win a prize.
We will have an outdoor movie event Friday, October 15th at 7:30 pm. We will watch Us (Rated R) in the grassy area behind the library. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Popcorn will be provided.
Disney Villain’s Ball! A party for teens on October 27th at 3:30 pm. We will have games and snacks and end the evening by watching Cruella (PG- 13).
